As we step into 2026, all of us at the Mad Zeeks Family want to pause for a moment and say thank you—from our hearts to yours. A new year always brings fresh beginnings, renewed hope, and the promise of stories yet to be told. We’re incredibly grateful to be starting this year with such a supportive, kind, and imaginative community.
This past year has reminded us why stories matter. They help children navigate big feelings, spark creativity, and remind families that even the most unusual characters—zombies, raccoons, inventors, and dreamers—can teach us something meaningful about kindness, empathy, and being ourselves. Knowing that our stories are being read, shared, and talked about in your homes makes every late night of writing worth it.
As we move forward into 2026, I want to share a little of what’s ahead. I am continuing to work diligently on Mortie’s story, and I’m committed to making it something truly special. At the same time, I’m excited to say that new stories are on the way for some very beloved characters—including Roscoe the Raccoon, Elara, and Finn the Cogwheel Kid. Each of these stories carries its own heart, humor, and message, and we can’t wait to bring them to life.
We’re also expanding how we share our stories beyond the page. In 2026, we’ll be uploading audio podcasts to YouTube and exploring the launch of a dedicated podcast channel called Behind the Pages. This space will give you a closer look at the creative process, the inspiration behind the characters, and the journey of building the Mad Zeeks world—one story at a time.
